Planning Technology

AI-assisted financial planning, explained honestly

Multi-Cycle Planning is our in-house planning platform. The math is deterministic software. The AI explains, monitors, and drafts. Advice comes from a licensed professional — never from the AI on its own.

How It Works

Three parts, honestly divided

The math is code, not AI

Every number the platform shows — the Monte Carlo retirement analysis, tax estimates, cash-flow projections, net worth — is computed by deterministic software. Same inputs, same answer, every time. The AI never invents a number.

The AI explains and monitors

Overnight, the platform's AI drafts plain-English analysis of each plan from those computed figures, notes what changed since the last look, and suggests topics worth discussing. Everything AI-generated is labeled as AI-generated.

People give advice

The platform is a planning tool, not an adviser. Personalized recommendations come from a licensed financial professional, with advisory services offered through Lincoln Investment — the AI drafts and flags, it doesn't decide.

Plain Boundaries

What the AI does — and doesn't

What it does

  • Explains computed resultsTurns the platform's deterministic figures into plain-English analysis you can actually read.
  • Refreshes overnightWhen your data changes, the analysis is re-drafted — and flagged as stale until it catches up.
  • Flags what movedSurfaces changes and suggested discussion topics rather than burying them in tables.
  • Assists the advisorFor his advisory clients, it helps Ted monitor plans and prepare for meetings.

What it doesn't

  • Compute your numbersProjections come from deterministic engines; the AI is handed the figures, never asked to make them up.
  • Trade or move moneyThe platform has no trading, transfer, or account-access capability — AI or otherwise.
  • Give advice on its own authorityAI output is educational and labeled; individualized advice comes from a licensed professional.
  • See who you areIdentifying fields — name, email, phone — are not sent to our AI provider, and your data is never used to train AI models.

Accountability

Where a human fits

Multi-Cycle Planning is built and operated by Ted Kamradt, CFP®. How much human oversight you get depends on how you use it — and we'd rather tell you that plainly than imply otherwise.

If you're one of Ted's advisory clients, the AI works as his assistant: it helps him monitor his clients' plans, catch changes, and prepare for your meetings. The advice you act on comes from him, through Lincoln Investment — not from the AI.

If you use the platform on your own, you're using a self-serve educational planning tool. The AI analysis you see is clearly labeled, it's educational rather than individualized advice, and no advisor is reviewing your account unless you choose to work with one.

Privacy

What the AI is allowed to see

When AI features run, the platform sends our AI provider the financial-profile data the analysis needs — without identifying fields like your name, email, or phone. Text you type into free-text fields is sent as written, so we suggest keeping names out of notes. Under our agreement with the provider, your data is not used to train AI models and is never sold.

The platform publishes its full data-handling practices on a public page — no account needed: Data & Privacy at Multi-Cycle Planning.
